For one day only the superstars of Welsh Wrestling will take over Newcastle Emlyn Leisure Centre and bring a fantastic show of American Style wrestling to West Wales. The leisure centre will be transformed into a superb wrestling arena to capture the live atmosphere that you would normally only be able to see on your TV!
The event will also be raising money for the Kidscape Anti-bullying charity, a charity that helps combat child abuse and bullying. Charity No.: 326864
"Wrestling has always been popular in West Wales, and especially in Newcastle Emlyn where a lot of the old RESLO TV tapings took place for S4C in the 80's and 90's. And we're hoping we can recapture that popularity with the first wrestling show in Emlyn in nearly twenty years" said promoter Alan Ravenhill.
Former WWE wrestler Stevie Starr will be making a very special appearance as he defends the Welsh Heavyweight Championship against the 6' 5", 24 stone mountain man Grizzly Jones. Other top stars set appear include the Mexican masked sensation Magico, the peoples favourite James Mason, and also the debut of local Carmarthenshire wrestler Gethin "The Dragon" Williams!
All this takes place on Saturday 27th September at Newcastle Emlyn Leisure Centre, at 4.00pm with doors opening at 3.30pm.
