Everyone is welcome at FLEat, a cool new flea market with eats coming to Small World Theatre on Sunday 2 March, 12pm – 5pm. After a hugely successful event last November, photographer Kate Dunwell has organised another indoor market, this time with a special St Davids Day theme. There are lots of demonstrations including spinning and a potter’s wheel. Families will be entertained with bilingual stories from storyteller Del Wyn, and there will be a fabulous selection of local Welsh produce and Welsh speaking stall holders selling their crafts and celebrating Dydd G?yl Dewi.
Delicious eats include El Salsa’s pop up Mexican food cafe, delicacies prepared with foraged ingredients by Jade Mellor, delicious puddings by Jen Goss, Welsh cakes and artisan bread by Mair’s off the grid bakehouse. Artists and makers Joanna Bond, Charlie Hague and Rose Wood Jewellery have all produced new work and will launch their new designs at this special event.
Come along for an inspirational combination of crafts, treats, vintage, bargains and a spot of spring shopping. Entrance is free.
