THE Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran, has a range of events planned for the festive season.

Events include Wildlife Puppet making & show Christmas Specials, 2pm to 4pm , £2.50 per child, December 15 and 22.

On December 18– Cilgerran Primary School will visit to sing some Christmas Carols at 1pm, and throughout December Meilir Tomos, a local celebrity keyboard player, will be enhancing the festive spirit at the visitor centre. Song sheets will also be available for those who want to join in and sing.

A Family Christmas Disco Fundraiser including games will take place on December 21,–6pm to 9pm, £2 per child (Adults Free. The centre is grateful to all local businesses who have donated an amazing array of gifts for a Raffle Draw which will take place that evening.

The Welsh Wildlife Centre remains open every day from 10am to 4pm until SundayDecember 22, and will reopen on New Year’s Day, 10.30am to 3.30pm.

The centre will then remain open for the rest of the season from half term, February 22, seven days a week.

Most notably we have a Family Christmas Disco on Saturday 21st of December which will be a fundraiser for The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales. A number of fantastic raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses for the event. We have our local primary school coming along to sing carols for us and a local celebrity key board player enhancing the festive spirit at the Centre throughout December.

The centre has also introduced a weekly meal deal for pensioners on Thursdays .
