NEWPORT Memorial Hall will host its Christmas disco on Friday, December 13, following on from the success of last year’s Retro Disco.

DJ Eugene will be playing grooves from the 60’s right up to the present day, and it promises to be a night of non-stop dancing.

Over the last year Newport Memorial Hall has seen more than 40 new volunteers helping out at the hall at a range of different events, and this disco will be no exception, with volunteers helping on the box office, on the bar and with the lighting and sound.

Volunteer officer Lowri Evans said: “This Christmas disco will be the perfect opportunity for everyone in the community and further afield to come and enjoy, let their hair down and relieve all the stresses that Christmas can sometimes bring. There aren’t many discos anymore so come and dance as if no one’s watching!”

The disco will start at 8pm, tickets are £5 on the door and there will be a fully licensed bar.
