Complaints about delivery vehicles blocking up the High Street in St Dogmaels are to be looked into by local county councillor Mike James.
Residents say that when delivery lorries park outside the Premier store the main street is sometimes completely blocked and emergency services cannot get through.
“Does a major incident have to occur before something gets done?” said one.
One suggestion made has been to have a no parking zone on the opposite side of the road.
Cllr James said he is takign the matter up with Pembrokeshire County Council.
“I will see it there is a way to improve the situation,” he said. “But the problem is always short term. I know there can be a blockage if the delivery lorry is there and a bus needs to pass. I will look into this,” he added.
