THREE people from Tivyside have recently appeared in court.
David Michael Jones, 39, of Castle Street, Cardigan, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on July 21.
He was charged with the offence of failing to provide information relating to the identity of a driver believed to have been involved in an offence when asked by South Wales Police on February 18. He was fined £660 and banned from driving for two years. He also had to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
Elinor Hughes, 32, of Panteg Road, Aberaeron, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 20.
She was caught on February 8 doing 39mph on Primrose Hill, Aberystwyth, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £324 surcharge and £90 costs.

Louise Jones, 37, of Pentrecourt Road, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 25.
She was caught on February 9 doing 82mph on the overpass A48 near Pensarn where the limit is 70mph. She was fined £146 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
