POLICE have launched a further appeal for witnesses following a crash on the A487 near Llwyncelyn which led to four people being taken to hospital.

The vehicles involved were a blue Honda CRV and a white Audi A3, and four people remain in hospital with serious injuries after the crash at 5pm on April 18.

The road was closed between Aberaeron and Synod Inn early on Sunday evening, and re-opened on Monday morning, April 19.

Emergency services, including air ambulances, attended at the scene.

Police said today, April 20: “Dyfed-Powys Police is keen to speak to witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, from the New Quay and Aberaeron areas, in particular anyone who saw the white Audi or its occupants in those areas Sunday afternoon.”
