Major road traffic collision closes A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn
A MAJOR road traffic collision has seen the A487 Aberystwyth to Cardigan road closed between Aberaeron and Synod Inn.
Emergency Services and air ambulances are currently at the scene.
A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police at around 6pm on Sunday evening confirmed: "Emergency Services are currently at scene dealing with a road traffic collision on the A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn at Llwyncelyn.
"Road is closed in both directions, please find an alternative route."
UPDATE: Dyfed Powys Police have confirmed at around 5.40am on Monday morning that the road has now reopened.
