St Dogmaels progressed to the next round of the Ceredigion League Cup on Saturday, December 6, as they earned a comfortable 7-0 win over Tregaron Turfs reserves.

The Saints came into this one having won their last two games, in all competitions, and they took the lead in the 10th minute on Saturday.

Captain Adam Williams set up Chris Morgan to score to give the home side the start they were looking for.

In the 24th minute, Williams scored the Saints’ second to put his side in control.

It remained 2-0 until half time but the Turfs still held hopes of getting back into the game.

However, just two minutes into the second half those hopes were dashed as Williams scored his second goal of the game.

Two minutes later it was 4-0 as Jordan Owens got his name on the scoresheet.

Williams then completed his hat trick in the 67th minute to all but seal the win for the Saints.

With seven minutes to go, Williams added his fourth goal as the Saints continued to look for more goals.

Tomos Lewis then completed the scoring in the 85th minute and the Saints began looking ahead to the next round.

Before that, they are back in league action on Saturday, December 13, as they visit Newcastle Emlyn.
