CRYMYCH twins Ioan and Garan Croft are among seven boxers from Great Britain who are in last 16 action at the EUBC European Boxing Championships in Armenia today.
Welterweight Ioan is boxing for the first time against Delano James, of the Netherlands, in Yerevan in the day’s afternoon session shortly.
Meanwhile, light-middleweight Garan – who earned victory over Adam Messibah last time out - returns to action against Albania’s Alban Beqiri at 15.30 (GMT).
The twins have trained at Cardigan Amateur Boxing Club since the age of eight. Last December they became the club’s first Welsh senior champs since Lee Winney in 1998.
They were over the moon’ after being selected for the GB Podium Squad at the Team GB training camp at Sheffield last January.
Their top priority this year will be the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in July.
