Cardigan Golf Club's members took advantage of the dry weather with a good entry for all competitions.

On Thursday 3 February, there were 28 competing in the Seniors Section Yellow Tee stableford competition, and winner on countback with 40 stableford points was Bernie Feenan, playing off a handicap of 25.

In second place, also with 40 points, was Bob Henty playing off 14, and in third place was Gareth Jones with 38 points playing off 10.

On Saturday 5 February, there were 37 entries for the White Box Stableford. Scoring was difficult in a severe wind, and the winner with a good score of 36 points playing off 7.

In second place was Bob Davis with 34 points playing off 17, and in third place on countback was Rich Griffiths with 33 points playing off 6.

Finally, there were 29 entries for the Seniors Section Red Tee Stableford held on Thursday 10 February.

The winner with 44 points was Keith Bara Lewis playing off 22. In second place on countback was Bernie Feenan with 42 points playing off 23, and in third place, also on countback and also with 42 points was Vernon Lewis, playing off 22.’
