WHEN action in the Costcutter Football ceased in March due to the coronavirus pandemic there were joint leading goal-scorers in Division One.
Outstanding in a role just behind the front-runners, Rhys Jones netted 18 goals and was a major influence as St Dogmaels retained the championship.
Jones shared the accolade as ace goal poacher with Rhys Jenkins, of Llanboidy, who also netted 18 goals as the west Carmarthenshire club occupied a mid-table position.
In Division Two, striker Oliver Edwards of champions New Quay led the way with 12 strikes, one ahead of Rhodri George who was on target for Maesglasalong with Crymych's Simon Vaughan.
Vastly experienced Mathew Newbold helped Llandysul Reserves lift the Division Three title with 15 goals and one behind was Llanboidy wide player Owain Gibbin.
