As Cardigan & District Darts League champions Tafarn Yr Oen chase an unprecedented tenth title on the trot they started the second half of the season in style with an 8-1 win over house rivals Lamb.

The only win for Lamb was achieved by Jamie Williams making a rare appearance as a stand-in for a regular, and came up against his younger brother Aaron.

Postman Jamie had everyone on their feet as he delivered the goods in going out on 131 (treble 20, treble 17, double 10) and 117 (treble 20, single 17, double 20) and also achieved an 18-darter.

Ladies darts

High quality throwing marked the annual Blind Pairs Doubles competition in the Cardigan Ladies Darts League with the final to be played at the end of the season.

In the first semi-final Cholie Davies (Tafarn Yr Oen) and Leslie Fletcher (Rugby Club) were in great form as they sprang a 2-0 win over Karen Bowen (Tafarn Yr Oen) and Gillian Morgan (Rugby Club) while in the second semi Gemma Knapp (Grosvenor) and Emma James (Grosvenor) won by an identical score against Mary Bradbury (Wine Bar) and Dianne Lewis (Rugby Club).
