Dismal batting led to Llandysul going down to a second successive defeat when losing by 68 runs against South Wales Cricket Association Division One second-placed Tata Steel.
Having been put in Steel posted 152 -8 thanks mainly to Rohan Herbert at first wicket down who hit seven fours and a six in an innings of 57.
Rhydian Harries was best of the Llandysul bowlers with three wickets.
In reply the visitors failed to make any significant impact and were bowled out for 84 as Kelvin Bartle snapped four wickets and there were three wickets for David Jones.
