There was cause for a double celebration at the RDM Oval ground in Llechryd at the weekend as the Teifisiders took over the leadership of the Pembroke County Cricket League Division Two after brushing aside fourth in the table Pembroke, and skipper John Curran was presented with his award as May player-of-the month for the whole five divisions.
The 23-year-old captain has led from the front from the word go, scoring two centuries last month and his current average is an impressive 111.
The presentation was made by league chairman Paul Webb.
