Teenage Cardigan swimming star Rhys Davies has been included in the Great Britain squad of 24 for the World Para Swimming Championships in London in September.
The 17-year-old from Llangoedmor is the only Welsh representative.
In the latest International Paralympic Committee rankings he is ranked number one in the world in the 200-metre backstroke and fifth in the 100-metre backstroke.
In a different sport last week the young Welshman finished ninth in the ITU World Aquathlon Championships in Spain.
