SECOND-placed Llandysul sprang a comfortable 105-run away win over Kidwelly counterparts to move within
19 points of the summit and keep up the pressure on South Wales Cricket Association Division Six leaders GWR Bridgend 2nds.
After being put in Llandysul openers Meurig Jones (57) and skipper Daniel Jones (14) went along steadily while Lewis Jones in the middle order
contributed 26 and Huw Evans at number nine made 16 as the visitors were all out for 141 in 39.5overs.
Owen Bailey was best of the home bowlers with three wickets for 14 runs off eight overs.
In reply Kidwelly were skittled for 36 in the 19th over with only Kyle Burton Lloyd at first wicket down reaching double figures and at the end was
unbeaten on 19.
For the visitors Dafydd Hatley snapped four wickets for four runs in seven overs as his side banked 18 points.
The Division One game between Llandysul and bottom of the pile Swansea Civil Service at Tir Dref was abandoned after the Llandysul innings.
The homesters reached 235 for eight wickets with Ben Edkins at number three again in fine form as he hit eight fours and a six in 59 while
Llewellyn Hughes in the middle order stroked eight boundaries in an innings of 64.
