Cardigan Golf Club - Ladies Section
LAST Tuesday, 25 ladies entered the Foundation Brooch Stableford Competition.
Coming in first place with a 35 was Rhian Hives and in two, three and four were the three Helens - Helen Studd, Helen Andrews and Helen Snelgrove all with 33.
On Friday, July 3, the Ladies held their open day competition. Seventy-five entries from all over west Wales took part.
In Division 1 the winner was Helena Horrocks (Cardigan) with 37 , second Pam Cole (Tenby) with 37 and third was Helen Andrews (Cardigan) with 34.
The Division 2 winner was Julie Lovett (Tenby) with 39, second Anne Wilks(Tenby) 38 and third was Lisa Cull (Newport) with 38.
Division 3 winner was Beverley Owen (Tenby) 37, and second Rhian Hives (Cardigan) with 37. Third was Sheila Ashton (Haverfordwest) with 36.
Longest Drive on the 14th was Delyth Williams from Haverfordwest and nearest the pin on the 16th was Helena Horrocks.
Best Cardigan overall Lady was Helena Horrocks.
