Newcastle Emlyn of League 1 West have been drawn at home against unbeaten Pencoed of League 2 West Central in round four of the Swalec Plate.
Emlyn, who went through to the last 16 on the away team rule after a 15-15 draw at Crymych, won 21-16 at Llangennech in the second round.
The club from the Bridgend area sprang a 27-21 win at home against Llantwit Fardre in round one, won 19-13 at Beddau in the second round and reached the fourth round after beating visitors Maesteg 23-14.
Pencoed has established a reputation for playing open 15-man rugby and the team led by skipper Ken Morris possess a pacey back division.
The club’s youth products include Welsh internationals Gareth Thomas, Gareth Cooper, Gavin Henson and Scott Gibbs.
The tie, which is expected to attract a bumper crowd to Ddol Wyber, is on Saturday, January 17 and the full round four draw is as follows: Aberystwyth v Talywain; Loughor v Ystalyfera; Newcastle Emlyn v Pencoed; Penallta v Heol y Cyw; Pontypool Utd v Nant Conwy; Skewen v Pwllheli; Ynysybwl v Penlan; Ystrad Rhondda v Glamorgan Wanderers.
