A spate of grass fires has been keeping fire crews busy in the Cardigan and Teifi valley areas for the last few days.
Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan firefighters were out for nearly three hours on Tuesday evening to deal with two hectares ablaze at Maudlands.
On Monday evening the New Quay crew damped down a fire near Derw Stores, Cwmtydu, in a two hour operation.
Carmarthen and Llandysul teams were at Cynwyl Elfed for several hours on Wednesday afternoon to deal with a forestry fire at Troedyrhiw.
And at the Cardigan crew used beaters to help them deal with a grass fire at Poppit Sands on Tuesday evening.
A spokeswoman for the Mid and West Wales Fire Service said: “We don’t believe any of these fires was started deliberately, but we do ask people to take extra as conditions have been extremely dry.”
