A pub with its own private jetty and impressive estuary views has been named our pub of the week.
The Ferry Inn is a family-run business in St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire.
Situated on the edge of the River Teifi, the inn offers stunning countryside views from its outside terraces and restaurant areas.
Originating as a public house in 1833, The Ferry Inn grew alongside the ferry service that connected Cardigan town with the village of St Dogmaels.
The ferry service continued into the 1920s.
Despite its quaint exterior, the inn boasts a three-level restaurant area with large windows offering "magnificent views" of the Teifi River Estuary.
The interior can seat 120 people.
The inn has earned the nickname 'the Tardis' for its deceptive size.

Outside, the inn is equipped with balconies and large decked areas, in addition to a private jetty for boat arrivals.
A public, all-tide jetty and slipway are located 100 metres from the pub.
The Ferry Inn is welcoming to walkers, cyclists, families, and dogs, and is situated at the start of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Prior to this, the couple had careers in theatre, television, and film in London.
They describe their experience in staging theatrical productions as invaluable to the daily operations of running the inn.
The couple said on their website: "We have worked hard to turn The Ferry into a relaxed destination venue in this beautiful location.
"We are passionate about our business and committed to our daily mission to provide the best possible experience for our customers."
