The First Minister, Eluned Morgan, attended a meeting in St Dogmaels.

The event, held by the Ceredigion Preseli Labour Party on February 28, was at the Memorial Hall.

This location was significant as Ms Morgan's great-grandfather was a minister in the village.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Labour's achievements and priorities in Wales, focusing on the needs of rural and coastal communities, housing, and opportunities for young people.

James Furse, chair of the Ceredigion Preseli Constituency Labour Party, said: "It was great to have the First Minister with us.

"The new arrangements for electing Members to the Senedd place an important responsibility on the party locally, and we are looking forward to playing our part supporting the First Minister in her re-election campaign."

The First Minister has strong ties to this part of Wales and recently announced her intention to contest the new Ceredigion Pembrokeshire constituency at the 2026 Senedd election.
