THESE defendants have had their cases heard in court recently.
The three defendants were accused of assaulting police officers and criminal damage.
Their cases were heard at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court.

Here’s a round-up of the cases.
RHYS SMITH, 29, of Llynyfran Road in Llandysul, launched an “unprovoked” attack on two police officers.
Smith was assaulted two male officers on Bro Cranog in Llangrannog on March 13 last year.
He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
The court heard that the attacks were “unprovoked” and “of a serious nature”, and involved a headbutt.
Smith pleaded guilty to both offences, and was sentenced to 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months, at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on February 19. This had been uplifted from a community order due to the offences being against emergency workers.
The defendant must complete 200 hours of unpaid work and 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
One of the officers was injured in the attack, and Smith was ordered to pay him £250 in compensation. He must also pay £350 in court costs and a £154 surcharge.
MARK BROOK, 31, of Brynheulwen in Blaenannerch, damaged a CCTV camera at an accountants in Cardigan.
Brook was charged with causing criminal damage worth £52.99 to a CCTV camera at H.D. Prichard & Co on Priory Street on August 9.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £80 at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court on February 20.
Brook must also pay £85 in costs and £52.99 in compensation.
DANIELLE JONES, 30, of Rhydlewis, attacked two police officers in Cardigan.
Jones was alleged to have assaulted two male police officers on Bingham Lane in the town on May 17, 2023.
She pleaded guilty to two offences of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Following an uplift due to the offences being against emergency workers, Jones was fined a total of £320 at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court on February 20.
One of the officers was injured in the attack, so Jones was ordered to pay £100 in compensation to them, as well as £85 in costs.
