The British Cycling Junior Road Race and Time Trial Championships were held in Newcastle Emlyn over the weekend.
The event saw the best 17-18 year old cyclists from all over the UK come to the Carmarthenshire town to compete to be British champion.
On Saturday the time trial saw entrants compete against the clock to complete a 7.6 mile lap from the town towards Pentrecagal, then Henllan, before crossing the River Teifi towards Llandyfriog and heading back into Newcastle Emlyn to cross the finish line in the town centre.
Then, on Sunday, the road race saw the girls complete six laps of the same course with the boys completing 10 laps.
This is the second year the town has staged a high profile cycling event.
