The Teifi Valley Vintage Rally will take place this Bank Holiday weekend.

The Teifi Valley Vintage Preservation Society will host its 39th Annual Vintage Rally on Bank Holiday Monday, May 27, at Glanllyn Fields near Penrhiwpal, Newcastle Emlyn.

The rally, featuring a treasure trove of vintage vehicles and assorted crafts, is set to be a delightful day out for the whole family.

This year's rally will commemorate the significant products of Nuffield, Leyland, and Marshall tractors.

The Nuffield brand, formed after the Second World War, was born of Morris Motors Limited – the company owned by Lord Nuffield.

Over time, Nuffield became the backbone of key industrial amalgamations, transforming into Britain's Leyland Tractors.

Pulling in all tractor enthusiasts, the rally will showcase various makes, alongside steam engines, commercial vehicles, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, and stationary engines.

In addition, the craft and model marquee will display locally produced items, there might even be threshing demonstrations but this will depend on the weather.

The Teifi Valley Vintage Preservation Society, known for its generosity, has over the years donated thousands of pounds to charities and noble causes.

Last year the society donated a handsome amount of £14,600 from a highly successful event.

The funds from this year's event are pledged to The Chemotherapy Units at Glangwili and Withybush Hospitals, while the raffle proceeds will support the Wales Air Ambulance.

The event kicks off at 10am and the society extends a warm welcome to all.
