STAFF and residents from Barchester's Cherry Blossom Manor care home in Bramley recently embarked on a delightful trip to Virginia Waters. 

The day was filled with the sights and sounds of nature, providing a refreshing escape for all involved.

Residents and staff enjoyed a leisurely walk, engaging in conversation and listening to the soothing melodies of birdsong. To complete the experience, they shared a delicious lunch together, creating lasting memories.

General manager Gigi Despojo said: “We absolutely love being able to take our residents out and about to visit Virginia Waters, it makes us so happy to be able to access venues like this. It has been a fantastic day and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”

Dorothy, a resident at Cherry Blossom Manor, said: “We have all had the most wonderful time visiting Virginia Waters. It is so lovely to be able to visit places like this and soak up the atmosphere. I especially liked watching the waterfall.”

Cherry Blossom Manor, run by Barchester Healthcare, provides nursing, residential, and respite care.
