CYMDEITHAS Aberteifi Society have provided three more blue plaques to denote key points of Cardigan’s’ heritage and history as part of a collection located across the town centre.
One of the locations is the former sail-makers loft and warehouse now enjoying a new lease of life as The Albion Hotel.
In the picture are trustees Kathleen Martyn , Clive Davies and Adrian Lawes, representing the town council Deputy Mayor Cllr Olwen Davies and building owner Mr James Lynch.
“Thank you to Mr Lynch for allowing CAS to install the plaque and thank you also to local historian Glen Johnson for his support on this project,” said a CAS spokesperson.
“The remaining plaques are destined for Cardigan’s stone bridge to mark the the sailing of The Albion from Cardigan to the Canadian province of New Brunswick.”
