Ceredigion residents are being advised to take note of their bin collection days over the Easter period.

Changes to normal services by Ceredigion County Council mean that waste collections usually scheduled for Monday, April 1, will now occur on Saturday, March 30.

Residents who ordinarily have their waste collected on Friday, March 29 will still have the service on that day.

The council is asking residents to share this information with their neighbours, family, friends, and anyone else within Ceredigion who may be impacted by these changes.

A spokesperson for the council said: "We continually review our approach to the delivery of our services with a view of providing the best possible level of service to the public with the resources that are available to us.

"We will be making efforts to share the information as widely as possible and, as part of Caru Ceredigion, would like to sincerely thank the public for their ongoing understanding and support.”

During Easter, the Household Waste Sites at Glanyrafon, Lampeter and Cilmaenllwyd will modify their opening hours to 10am - 3pm, Saturday through to Easter Monday, however, the sites will be closed on Good Friday.

On the other hand, the Waste Site at Rhydeinon, Llanarth is not set to change its usual hours, remaining open from 10am - 5pm on Saturday and Easter Sunday, whilst closing on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
