COMMUNITY leaders have welcomed the coming of two new small businesses to Cardigan’s Black Lion Mews.
Recently opened by town mayor Cllr Sian Maehrlein and her husband and consort David, Brick Haven Lego – run by the father and son team of Dan and Ed who have turned their much-loved hobby into a business – provide build days and parties for Lego enthusiasts.
The other new arrival in the Mews is Arubi, whose owner Nicki provides a mix of crafts and houseware.
“I spoke to both about support available for them as new businesses, including business advice from the Market Trading team and the Marketeer,” said Cllr Clive Davies.
“Also help from technology advisors at the Smart Busnes team at Antur Cymru Enterprise as well as the grants available for future development and growth from Ceredigion County Council’s Economy team.
“Good luck to both businesses and Croeso I Aberteifi!”
