A CEREDIGION road is now closed to traffic for a week.
Ceredigion County Council has revealed that the U5071 road, Brithdir, Rhydlewis is now closed to all traffic to allow for resurfacing work.
The closure begins today – Wednesday, December 13 - and will last for seven days or until work is completed.
There is an alternative route in place for traffic which four south-west traffic will be via the B4334 in a north-westerly direction to the junction with the U5070. Turn left onto U5070 and travel to the junction with the U5071. Turn left onto the U5071 and travel to a point south-west of the closure for a total distance of around 1.6miles. It will be vice versa for north-eastbound traffic.
