THE weather held out for a special bonfire night event in Newcastle Emlyn on the weekend.
The town’s King George V playing fields committee organised a bonfire night spectacular in the Newcastle Emlyn Castle grounds with a bonfire, fireworks display and performances from fire dancers.
Despite the planned wet weather for Sunday, November 5, the weather was kind to the organisers and the hundreds in attendance.
