Cych Valley Local Producers’ Market is back at Abercych Village Hall on Saturday, September 9.

The market runs from 10am to 12.30pm and is free to enter.

This month there will be home baked fresh bread, lots of fresh vegetables including squash, tomatoes and cucumbers, free range eggs, local honey, jams and preserves.

There will also be perennials from Heartsease Plants; hand dyed textiles and hand painted cards; children's hand knitted clothes; dietary dog biscuit; a range of gifts and turned wood items from Jason Wilkins and Bluestones coffee.

Once again there will be delicious refreshments from the Village Hall Committee. The event will be supporting the village hall and providing a meeting place for the community.

“If any other local producers would like to join us we are a friendly supportive group whose only rule is that whatever they sell at the market is either grown or made in the area around Abercych,” said committee member Rhianon Turrell.

“There are no specific boundaries as long as producers live fairly locally or have a connection to the area of the Cych Valley.”

Tables cost just £3. Contact Rhianon on rhianonturrell@btinternet.com or 01239 698280 to find out more,

The market on October 14 will mark one year of the producers’ market. This followed by markets on November 11 and December 9.
