A NUMBER of planning applications have been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council for properties in the area.

Here we take a look at some of the latest applications that are under consultation in the June 26-30 list on the council’s website.

Retention of garden room at rear of Llandysul dwelling (Reference: PL/06000. Consultation deadline: July 21).

A Mr Holland has submitted a retrospective planning application to keep the garden room built at the rear of his property in Velindre, Llandysul.

Work on building the room began on June 1, 2020, and was completed on July 1, 2020, and following this, it has been found that the development needed planning permission.

Works at Bronafon, Bridge Street, Newcastle Emlyn (Reference: PL/06185. Consultation deadline: August 2).

There are plans for alterations to the Grade II listed building of Bronafon, on Bridge Street, Newcastle Emlyn. The plans were submitted by Curness Letting Agent and involve work to improve the heating in the building.

The works include thermal improvements, double-glazed windows and a new heating system including Airsource and Solar. The works would affect the interior of the building.
