A NUMBER of people have been in court on assault charges, including assaults on emergency workers.
Lee Rigby, 45, of Longdown Bank, St Dogmaels, admitted a charge of assault by beating at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on April 12.
He admitted assaulting another man by beating on September 22 in Cardigan.
He was ordered to pay £120 fine, £48 surcharge and £85 costs.
Gemma Reeve, 39, of Parc y Felin, Lampeter, admitted assaulting an emergency worker by beating at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on April 12.
She admitted that on March 24, she assaulted a police officer in Lampeter.
She was ordered to pay £200 fine, £100 compensation, £80 surcharge and £85 costs.
Meicha Harvey, 29, of Teifi Terrace, Lampeter, admitted theft from a shop at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on April 12.
Harvey admitted stealing two burgers to the value of £4.70 from the Spa on Terrace Road, Aberystwyth.
Harvey was given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Ezme Rouse, 29, of Cambrian Street, Aberystwyth, admitted assaulting an emergency worker by beating at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on April 13.
Rouse admitted assaulting a police officer in Blaenporth on January 10.
Rouse was ordered to pay £54 fine, £50 compensation, £22 surcharge and £150 costs.
Jake Smith, 33, of Bro Llan, Llanwnnen, admitted assaulting an emergency worker by beating at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on April 12.
He admitted assaulting a police officer in Lampeter on October 30.
He was ordered to pay £269 fine, £108 surcharge and £85 costs.
