A SCOTTISH musical duo will be performing in Ceredigion next month.
Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer will be bring their melodic jazz to Lampeter in April.
The duo use programmable lighting and bottle lights to create an intimate atmosphere for their music, which will further enhance their performance as they head to a number of rural communities on this run.
Alongside the music, the duo will tell stories of their travels in their tour bus, which is an old, converted Yorkshire ambulance.
Ian said: “We are delighted to be performing again after sell-out candlelight concerts in the Glasgow Tall Ship in July 2021 and record sales for our concerts in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We are hoping this makes a welcome release from lockdown and a chance for communities to reconnect.”
Dominic said: “It’s been a difficult time over the last few years, but we had both been practising hard throughout lockdown, even posting some videos of us playing together from our separate homes. Throughout lockdown we called ourselves the Socially Distanced Duo now we’re getting out and meeting our audience again.”
Ian and Dominic will be at Venue Llambed, Victoria Hall, Bryn Road, Lampeter on Friday, April 28 at 7pm. Tickets cost £10 and under 16s who are accompanied by an adult can enter for free. Tickets are available from www.vichall.org.uk or by calling 01570 421305.
