THESE drivers were recently in court for speeding offences.

The drivers are either from the Ceredigion or North Pembrokeshire areas or committed offences in these areas.

Ben Charles Allen, 21, of Maesymeillion, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on February 28.

He was caught on August 28 doing 88mph in a Volkswagen Caddy on the A40 Abergwili where the limit is 70mph.

He was fined £100, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £40 surcharge and £90 costs.

Susan Elaine Giles, 62, of High Street, Cilgerran, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on February 28.

She was caught on August 30 doing 35mph in a Fiat Tipo on the A484 Llechryd where the limit is 30mph.

She was fined £92, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £36 surcharge and £90 costs.

Thomas Lee Barrett, 24, Heol ty Newydd, Cilgerran, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on February 23.

He was caught on September 22 doing 36mph in a Citroen DS3 on North Road, where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £88 surcharge and £90 costs.

Tomos Geraint Powell, 28, of Rhydlewis, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on March 3.

He was caught on September 5 doing 39mph in a Kia Sportage on the A484 Saron where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £291, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £116 surcharge and £90 costs.
