TODAY - Wednesday, March 1 - is St David's Day, celebrating the patron saint of Wales.

It is a day of showing Welsh pride - whether that be dressing in traditional Welsh outfits, rugby jerseys, wearing daffodils or leeks, eating traditional Welsh food or holding Eistedfodds.

Every year, schools all over Wales get involved in the fun - with children dressing up, singing the Welsh national anthem and holding competitions for drawing and writing, all with a Welsh theme.
