THESE drivers recently appeared in court for speeding offences.

Miriam Bevan, 29, of Llangrannog, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on February 6.

She was caught on August 29 doing 46mph in a Honda Jazz on the A4119 junction with School Road where the limit is 40mph.

She was fined £153, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £61 surcharge and £90 costs.

Barry Jones, 64, of Harvard Road, Llanelli, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on February 8.

He was caught on June 27 doing 40mph in a Ford Focus on the A484 Saron, Llandysul, where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £66, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge. The fine was given as a fixed penalty.

She was caught on August 4 doing 53mph in a Mercedes-Benz A-class on the A484 Saron, Llandysul, where the limit is 30mph.

She was fined £346, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £138 surcharge and £90 costs.

Rolanda Mary Thorpe, 48, of Talsarn, Lampeter, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on February 9.

She was caught on July 31 doing 51mph in a Volkswagen Touran on the A485 Cwmann, Lampeter, where the limit is 30mph.

She was fined £120, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £48 surcharge and £90 costs.
