HERE are the drivers who have been in court recently for speeding.

Oliver Cartwright, 36, of Ciliau Aeron, Lampeter, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 17.

He was caught on May 4 doing 42mph on the A485 Gwyddgrug, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. He was fined £266, given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Daniel Lee Darby, 29, of Ger-y-Lan, Velindre, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 17.

He was caught on May 5 doing 37mph on A484 Pentre Morgan, a restricted road where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £194, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Sian Alice Evans, 36, of Rhos, Llandysul, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 17.

She was caught on May 5 doing 35mph on the A484 Pentre Morgan, a restricted road where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £220, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Gareth John Hughes, 58, of Felin Dolgwyn Road, Velindre, Llandysul, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 18.

He was caught on May 17 doing 27mph on Ysgol Gymunedol Cae’r Felin Pencader, where the limit is 20mph. He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

He was caught on April 30 doing 48mph in an Audi A6 on A485 Llanllwni, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. He was fined £440, given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.

Diana Michelle Thomas, 37, of Penmaesglas, Aberaeron, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 18.

She was caught on May 5 doing 51mph in a Land Rover Range Rover Sport on the A485 Rhydargaeau, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. She was fined £440, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
