AS PART of a drive to encourage more children to enjoy reading, Cardigan’s Community Bookshop is planning to run a special offer.
From November 1 until Christmas, the shop – based at 21 Pendre – will be giving two books from the children's section to each child who comes into the shop.
No other purchase is necessary and a parent or grandparent can claim and choose the book on behalf of the child.
“With plenty of books in both Welsh and English, any child should be able to find something of interest,” said a spokesperson.
Cardigan Community Bookshop continues to be run successfully by over 25 volunteers.
Since it was founded six years ago, the bookshop has donated nearly £34,000 to local causes.
The shop is open 10am-4pm, six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
