ST Tydfil's church in Llechryd was open for quiet prayer this morning with a book of condolence on the altar.
The banner bearing the words 'God Save The King' was originally bought for the Coronation of Edward VIII, subsequently used for the Coronation of George VI in May 1937, and had remained unused until this morning.
