Dyfed-Powys Police officers are investigating an incident which took place at a New Quay hotel last month.
The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, July 30, at the Black Lion Hotel in New Quay.
Police have conducted enquiries and are now appealing for anybody who witnessed it to come forward.
A spokesperson from Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to come forward.
"Police would especially like to speak to a man who is believed to have recorded the incident on his mobile phone."
