CARDIGAN Radio are seeking more on-air presenters.

Radio Manager Bobby Kelly said he was confident of unearthing new talent for the airwaves.

"I'm very pleased with the nine presenters that are working very hard to produce quality content,” he told the Tivy-Side. ““They are all brilliant.

“Nonetheless, we're continually looking for more presenters - we don't believe we need to schedule any syndicated shows from far away: all the talent is right here!

“It's also free to be a member.

“The first time many in the town heard of Cardigan Radio was following a vandal attack during a live show.

“Since then our shop window has been fixed and we have a growing team of local people producing and presenting their own shows.”

These include The Climate Resilience Show where guests discuss issues such as sustainability, bio-diversity and and climate anxiety on Thursday afternoons.

Another recent addition to Cardigan Radio's schedule is Cardi Cole's Radio Show, a show presented on Mondays by former town mayor Mark Cole, who ponders local and national matters along with day-to-day life and interactive chatter.

Listeners can also tune in to the Cellar Bars open-mic night live every Thursday following a permanent link up, leaving the possibility open for more Cellar Bar events to be heard live at the press of a button.

Anyone interested in getting involved is welcome to visit the studio based at 2 Pwllhai or email Radio Cardigan at support@cardiganinternetradio.wales or phone 01239 614 400.
