A CARDIGAN churchman has called for action to be taken at what he describes as a ‘particularly dangerous’ part of town.
In a letter to Cardigan Town Council, Rev John Powell drew members’ attention to the ‘dangerous blind spot’ on the junction from the Black Lion Mews on to Chancery Lane.
“If a child were to cross there in front of an oncoming vehicle it could result in a serious accident or death,” he warned.
Rev Powell went on to suggest that the installation of speedbumps would lessen the danger.
Councillors agreed to forward his concerns to Ceredigion County Council highways officers for their consideration.
