A 43-year-old man remains in police custody on suspicion of making threats to kill in a remote forestry in Ceredigion.
He is further accused of possessing a knife in a public place.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on Thursday afternoon between midday and 3pm in a forestry area known as Afon Cleddan which is near Cross Inn, Llanon.

Officers are now appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at this time to come forward with information that may help them with their enquiry.
