A NEWCASTLE Emlyn motorist has been fined £660 and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for failing to provide driver identity following an alleged speeding offence on the A48 at Pensarn.
Allison Morgan, aged 40, of Lloyd Terrace, Adpar, had her case heard by Carmarthenshire magistrates sitting at Llanelli after being charged with driving a Volvo clocked by laser at travelling at 86 mph at 12:30pm on September 5, 2021.
The offence was withdrawn, but the defendant found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of the vehicle on November 19.
She was also ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £66 along with £90 costs.
