TOASTS are being raised at an historic St Dogmaels pub today after an astonishing community drive to preserve it.

Following a lengthy campaign to buy the inn back into the community – and months of building work and refurbishment – The White Hart has finally re-opened its doors.

“We will open from 11am to 11pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Oct 27-29 for everyone to come and see what has been done and enjoy a drink (or two),” said the committee.

“If you arrive and we are very busy please call back again as we want everyone to visit in comfort and safety.

“You’ll be able to view the food menu which we hope to start serving soon.

“On Saturday we will again be open from 11am to 11pm and will be showing the full live rugby autumn internationals.

“The autumn international rugby begins on Saturday and we have signed up to show the whole series live.

“We hope to see you all over those few days to raise a glass to The White Hart Community Inn.”
