A CARDIGAN artist is holding ‘an exhibition with a difference’ at Awen Teifi Gallery in the centre of town.
A popular Cardigan character, Jeffrey Jones’s work deals primarily with the themes of religion and societal apathy.
An art graduate of Trinity College Carmarthen, Jeff can often be seen sketching around town.
“I came up with the idea for ‘Fydd Mewn Ffram’ (Within A Frame) during lockdown,” Jeff – who works in a variety of media including paint, embroidery and stained glass - told the Tivy-Side.
“It includes tapestries and paintings some of which depict hope.
“By that I mean that although chapel congregations are falling we haven’t lost the younger generations to their iphones yet.
“How would I describe this exhibition? I would say it’s different.”
“Put it this way, Cardigan has never seen anything quite like it before!”
The exhibition runs until November 5.
