FRIENDS of Cardigan Skatepark organised a jam at the venue to mark the end of the 2021 season.
Attended by children and adults of all ages, the event – which included competitions for best skate and BMX – was a great success.
FOCS committee member Robin Stanley said: “It’s great to see so many turn up - we’ve not had a jam since 2019 and there were many new faces here today.
“Hopefully, next year’s jam will be bigger and better.”
Among those attending was Cllr Clive Davies who helped obtain a grant and town council funding towards the park’s much-needed refurbishment.
“This park is used not only by Cardigan families but also those from much further afield,” he told the Tivy-Side.
“Who knows? Today’s skate jam may have had a future Olympian among those competing.”
The event was generously sponsored by Tonnau Surf Mana Design, FletchDecks, fforest, Hiut Denim Co., Rip Ride Wear, Wozza's Kustom Rod Builds and Howies.
