A487 road is currently closed at Synod Inn
The main A487 coastal road was closed for several hours at Synod Inn on Monday evening, 3 May.
Dyfed-Powys Police stated at around 6pm on Monday evening: "The road will be closed for considerable amount of time, please find an alternative route. Thank you for your cooperation."
Traffic Wales reported that the road has been closed due to a road traffic accident, and that emergency services were at the scene. It stated: "A487 Synod Inn to Llanarth travelling in both directions is closed due to a collision. Emergency Services are on scene."
UPDATE: Traffic Wales confirmed in the early hours of Tuesday morning that the road had been reopened. Further details to follow on website as we get them.
